On arrival, a team of eight firefighters found numerous people outside the building, with light smoke showing in the building’s entranceway, the department reports.

Firefighters made quick entry from the rear of the four-plex and quickly extinguished a bedroom fire that had caused significant damage to the suite.

After a primary search of the fire suite as well as the three other units, the department concluded that there were no occupants left in the building.

The fire is currently under investigation.
