City Hall

This, despite a motion from Coun. Tim Scharkowski to put a pilot project into motion for one or more of the streets between Ninth and 12th Streets, from First to Sixth Avenues East, to be made one-ways.

In a split vote, Scharkowski’s motion as defeated.

Instead, city administration will bring other options forward to city council, which could include the widening of boulevards, removal of trees or parking on one side of the street only.
