Police make arrest in series of B&Es

In relation to three commercial break and enters over the past week, a 30-year-old Prince Albert man has been arrested and charged.



The accused has also been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, a city police press release reads.

During the offence, a stolen pickup truck was allegedly used to force entry into the buildings and product was stolen from inside. Extensive damage was done to each building entered.

The accused has also been remanded and will appear in court on Monday morning.

The balance of the weekend saw city police respond to 230 calls for service between 5 p.m. on Friday and 12 p.m. on Sunday.

During this time, 53 arrests were made, of which 30 were for intoxication and eight were for new charges. The rest faced outstanding warrants.
