With the Prince Albert SPCA preparing for their big move to the new location on the weekend, they have some different hours this week.

Starting Thursday until Monday, the SPCA will be closed to the public. They will reopen at their new location at 1125 North Industrial Drive at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

They will however continue to take in pets at 680 Exhibition Drive until noon on Saturday. After that time, the animals should be taken to the new location. You can also call Bylaw Enforcement at 953-4222.

People can still call 763-6110 to leave a message if they’ve lost or found pet.

North Industrial Drive can be accessed from the city a couple of ways, including turning at the new RCMP detachment on Highway 2. You then drive east on 15th Street Northeast to Central, take a right turn at the intersection and drive south until you take a left turn onto North Industrial.

Drivers can also take the off-ramp on the north side of the Diefenbaker bridge, taking a left almost immediately on the Northern Woods and Water Route and then a right onto Central Avenue North. You then drive north on Central for 600 metres before taking another right onto North Industrial.
