Intoxicated people accounted for half of all arrests made over the weekend by the Prince Albert Police Service.
Between Friday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at noon, police responded to 194 calls for service and made 32 arrests.
Of those arrests, 16 were for intoxication, nine were for new charges and six were for outstanding warrants.
In total, 66 calls were made on Friday night, 62 during daylight hours on Saturday, 63 on Saturday night and 13 calls on Sunday morning. Several of the calls involved reported disturbance and intoxicated individuals.
