Paramedics respond to multiple assaults, vehicle collisions

Parkland Ambulance Paramedics responded to 64 incidents over the weekend as of Sunday at 11 a.m., including numerous assaults and vehicle collisions.

Among the most notable incidents:

-  On Friday at 6:48 p.m., paramedics responded to an assault in the 1100 block of Branion Drive. They cared for a 24-year-old woman with minor injuries who was then taken by ambulance to hospital.

- On Saturday at 6:30 a.m., paramedics responded to a motor vehicle collision at 16th Avenue and Muir Drive. No injuries were reported.

- At 10:58 a.m., paramedics responded to an assault in the 800 block of 15th Street West. They cared for a 32-year-old woman with minor injuries who was taken by ambulance to hospital.

- At 12:07 p.m., paramedics arrived at a golf course in the Christopher Lake area where a 37-year-old woman had fallen from the back of the golf cart she was riding on. Paramedics cared for the woman before taking her to hospital in good condition.

-  At 2:21 p.m., paramedics responded to the Sturgeon Lake Reserve after a car hit a tree. They cared for a 17-year-old female and a five-year-old girl who both suffered injuries and transported them to hospital in good condition.

- At 4:57 p.m., paramedics responded to an assault in a trailer court east south of the city and cared for a 40-year-old woman with injuries before transporting her to hospital in good condition.

- At 9:24 p.m., paramedics responded to a motor vehicle collision at 15th Street and Second Avenue West. Paramedics at the scene report that no injuries were reported.

- At 9:51 p.m., paramedics responded to an assault at 28th Street and Ninth Avenue West. They cared for a 41-year-old man with minor injuries before an ambulance transported him to hospital.
