A local woman has become the second Prince Albert resident to cash in a lottery prize in recent weeks.

Margaret Bantle won $50,000 after her $3 Year Of The Horse Scratch ’N Win ticket took the top prize. She bought it and four other tickets at Mac’s Convenience Store at 2805 Sixth Ave. E. when she stopped to pick up some other items.

She told Saskatchewan Lotteries that she’s a regular scratch’n win player but that this is her first big win.

Saskatchewan Lotteries announced last week that Don Czasnojc of Prince Albert won $10,000 with a Monopoly Multiplier Scratch ’N Win ticket.
