Police report ‘extremely busy’ weekend

The Prince Albert Police Service had their hands full over the weekend with 236 calls for service.

Evening shifts were particularly hectic, as police responded to 67 calls for service on Friday night and 83 calls on Saturday night.

Most of the calls were related to intoxicated persons and damages to property. In total, police made 43 arrests and laid two impaired driving charges.

Police have also charged a man with nine counts of break and enter, mischief and possession of stolen property from the East Hill area of the city.
