City police arrested a local teenager on Thursday after a series of break-and-enters in the East Hill last weekend.

In a news release on Friday, the Prince Albert Police Service said that a tip led them to search an East Hill residence, where they found property related to the recent break and enters.

Lonnie Montana Eashappie, 19, has been charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime.

Eashappie made his first court appearance Friday at Prince Albert Provincial Court.

The investigation continues.
