Men faces charges for April homicide in city

Two men face charges in connection with a homicide that took place in Prince Albert last month.

A Prince Albert teenager died on April 14 in the early morning hours at a residence in the 500 block of 27th Street East.

A 25-year-old Alberta man who is currently in custody in that province on another matter will be returning to Prince Albert to face one count of break and enter and one count of first degree murder, the Prince Albert Police Service announced in a press release on Wednesday morning.

Jordan Christopher Herron, 20, of Prince Albert is also facing one count of break and enter and one count of first degree murder.

The investigation continues.
