Man targeted with bear spray

Police are investigating an incident late on Tuesday night in which a man was sprayed with bear spray.

Members of the Prince Albert Police Service responded to the 900 block of 17th Street West at 11:05 p.m. after receiving a complaint of an assault with a weapon.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim, a 23-year-old man who had been sprayed with bear spray. Parkland Ambulance Paramedics treated the man at the scene.

The victim provided a description of the suspect as 5’9” in height with a slim build, wearing a blue sweater and red hat.
