Suspect identified after stabbing of woman, 19

Police are seeking a male suspect in relation to an alleged stabbing that took place on Saturday.

At 1:57 p.m., police responded to the 1000 block of Fourth Street East. Inside the residence, officers discovered a 19-year-old woman who was suffering from a facial laceration and had lost a significant amount of blood.

The victim told police she had been evicting a group of people from her residence when an altercation took place and she was stabbed. Paramedics transported her to the Victoria Hospital, where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation into the incident has identified a suspect described as a short male with short hair who was wearing a bandana. He has tattoos of a cross and tear on one side of his face and a tattoo of a tear on the other side.
