A man is facing assault charges after punching an employee at a business he was asked to leave.
Prince Albert police initially received a complaint of an assault on Saturday from a business in the 2900 block of Second Avenue West.
The victim, an employee of the business, had approached an intoxicated male customer and requested that he leave the premises.
While escorting the man from the business, the victim was punched in the face and received minor injuries.
The man fled the scene but was quickly located in the surrounding area. Patrol members arrested the suspect based on descriptions provided by the victim and captured surveillance video.
A 27-year-old male has been charged with assault in relation to the incident and later made his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
