Man struck in face with bottle

A 24-year-old man suffered non-life threatening injuries on Saturday after being struck in the face with a bottle.

Prince Albert police initially attended to an east flat residence at approximately 6:20 a.m. after receiving a complaint of an assault with a weapon.

The investigation revealed that the male victim had been struck in the face by a bottle. Parkland Ambulance transported the man to the Victoria Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.

The victim has yet to provide police with a statement and the matter is still under investigation.
