Two men are facing trafficking charges after police seized money and crack cocaine in a drug bust last week.
Members of the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team were conducting a drug investigation on Thursday when a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant was executed on a residence inside the city.
Two adult males were arrested without incident during the investigation. Police also seized more than 118 individually wrapped packages of crack cocaine and $1,200 of Canadian currency.
Abdulkadir Yusuf, 21, of Calgary, Alta., and Dwier Simon, 21, of Hobbema, Alta., have both been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime. They were scheduled to make their next court appearances on Monday in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
