The assault took place at about 4:30 a.m. at the 1400 block of 28th Street East, where paramedics cared for an unknown age person with injuries who was taken by ambulance to hospital in good condition for further care.

With cold weather infiltrating Prince Albert, again, Parkland Ambulance director of public affairs Lyle Karasiuk is cautioning the public about frostbite.

Frostbite can occur within a few minutes if skin is not properly covered.

Karasiuk encourages members of the public to take the time to properly dress themselves in toques, scarfs, mittens, good weather boots, a proper coat and long underwear.

He also encourages residents to consult with media frequently for updates on weather conditions.
