Defence in drug case requests electronic monitoring report

The defense counsel for a man accused of drug trafficking and fleeing from police is requesting an electronic monitoring report.

The case was adjourned following a Monday morning appearance by the accused in provincial court. A show-cause hearing will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 10 a.m.

Ryan John Connell, 32, has been charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight -- also known as failing to stop for police -- and breach of probation.
