Man allegedly stumbles out of vehicle, intoxicated

After a vehicle veered off the road and got stuck, city police report seeing the driver desperately trying to free the vehicle.



In a release, city police report that the 32-year-old male driver fled on foot when police pulled up at about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, in the McIntosh Drive area.

The suspect tried to jump a gate to get into a yard, but instead stumbled and fell, police report.

Police apprehended the man after some resistance and report him to have “Extreme impairment signs.”

The suspect was arrested and charged with impaired driving, having refused a breathalyzer and resisting arrest.

The suspect will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Monday morning.
