Fire department reports steady weekend

The Prince Albert Fire Department reported a steady weekend, with six calls for service attended to.

The calls included:

- Two responses to single-vehicle rollovers in the RM of Prince Albert. One rollover occurred on Highway 11 south of MacDowall and the other took place on Highway 2 south of Prince Albert. No injuries reported in either case.

- One response to a vehicle collision inside the city for the purpose of automotive fluid cleanup.

- One response to a Prince Albert residence to rescue a trapped puppy from ductwork.

-  One response to a residence inside the city for “alarms ringing.” Upon arrival, crews discovered the source of the alarm was an overheated stove.

- One response to a residence for suspicion of carbon monoxide. Crews discovered low amounts of carbon monoxide on arrival, then focused efforts on determining the source and working with the owner to resolve the issue.
