The Prince Albert Police Service will be conducting random checkstops at various locations throughout the city over the holidays.

Police will be checking for impaired drivers and other infractions. Residents are reminded to enjoy the holidays responsibly and plan for a safe ride home if they will be consuming alcoholic beverages.

One option is the Operation Red Nose program offered by the Prince Albert Lions Club, which offers free chauffeured transportation to help individuals and their vehicles return home safe.

More information on Operation Red Nose is available by calling (306) 763-6673.
