A Calgary man is facing drug charges following the search of a residence on Friday by the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team.
Comprised of members of the RCMP and Prince Albert Police Service, the enforcement team executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence in the 1000 block of 12th Street West.
During the search of the property, investigators seized 15.7 grams of cocaine, including nine individual packages of the drug ready for resale. Police also seized a sawed-off seven-millimetre rifle and $425 in cash supporting the charges.
Dustin Brazeau, 28, has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, proceeds of crime under $5,000 and several firearms offences.
He was remanded in custody and was set to make his first provincial court appearance on Monday morning.
