Tickets to Friday’s Riverbank Gala have sold fairly well, but there are still 20 places left to fill.
The organizers planned on selling 160 tickets and 140 have been sold so far, Prince Albert Tourism executive director Jayne Remenda said.
The gala, which is raising funds to restore the Diefenbaker House, celebrates the three prime ministers who have represented P.A. in Parliament.
Musicians will perform the music that evokes the historical periods of the Laurier, Mackenzie King and Diefenbaker governments. A dance space will be provided.
An original painting of Diefenbaker House, by artist Ken Lyons, will be auctioned.
The weather is expected to be pleasant but cool, so guests are advised to dress appropriately. The dress code is formal.
Tickets are $125 per plate and $800 for a corporate table of eight. Contact Prince Albert Tourism at 953.4385 to purchase one or to inquire about further information.
