RMs pass resolution for longer elected terms

Persistence paid off for Leonard Blocka.

The RM of Prince Albert, for which Blocka is the reeve, spearheaded the passing of a resolution at this week’s Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities (SARM) annual convention in Regina to lobby the provincial government for four-year elected terms for rural politicians.

RM politicians currently serve two year terms.
