TORONTO - A touring exhibition devoted to the history and future of video games — billed as the largest of its kind in the world — will make its first Canadian appearance at the Ontario Science Centre, from March 9 to Sept. 2.
"Game On 2.0," organized by the Barbican Centre of London, England, covers 60 years of gaming history, focusing on game design, development and production.
As well, over 150 games will be set up for visitors to play, ranging from early hits such as "Pong" and "Pac-Man" right up to "Halo Reach," "World of Warcraft" and "Guitar Hero 5." Pinball games will also be featured.
Launched in 2010, the exhibition has appeared at venues in Australia, Greece, Hungary, Norway and the U.S.
