CHARLOTTETOWN - Roughly 2,000 motorcycle riders are expected to converge on P.E.I.'s Confederation Bridge on Saturday night.

The ride is part of Atlanticade 2012, which a release calls the province's largest gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts.

Riders are expected from across North America.

Organizers say watching the 2,000 bikers cross the roughly 12 kilometre bridge together at sundown will be a once in a lifetime experience.

Atlanticade runs until July 2.
