TORONTO - Sam (Hands of Stone) Stout will face John (The Bull) Makdessi in an all-Canadian lightweight matchup at UFC 154 in Montreal.

The mixed martial arts show is scheduled for Nov. 17 at the Bell Centre with an expected main event featuring welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and interim title-holder Carlos Condit.

Stout (19-7-1) is coming off a unanimous win over Spencer Fisher in June in a decision that UFC boss Dana White believed should have gone to Fisher. Stout, a 28-year-old from London, Ont., is 7-6 in his UFC career.

Makdessi (9-2) is 2-2 in the UFC and has lost his last two outings. The 27-year-old from Montreal has been hit by injury several times since joining the organization.

The co-main event in Montreal features welterweights Johny (Bigg Rigg) Hendricks and Martin (The Hitman) Kampmann.

Other announced UFC 154 bouts are Montreal middleweight Patrick (The Predator) Cote versus Alessio (Legionarius) Sakara of Italy, lightweight Mark Bocek of Woodbridge, Ont., versus Brazil's Rafael Dos Anjos, featherweight Antonio Carvalho of Ajax, Ont., versus Brazil's Rodrigo Damm, featherweight Mark (The Machine) Hominick versus Pablo Garza, Swedish welterweight Besam Yousef versus Stephen (Wonderboy) Thompson, and middleweight (Filthy) Tom Lawlor versus Francis (Limitless) Carmont of France.
