GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The works of Dutch sculptor Hanneke Beaumont are coming to Grand Rapids.

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park says its display marks Beaumont's first major museum exhibition in the U.S.

Called "Connected and Disconnected: The Sculpture of Hanneke Beaumont," it opens to the public on Friday and will run until April 28.

Beaumont is known for her figurative work.

Her work in terra cotta, bronze and iron as well as a group of large-scale drawings are part of the exhibition.
