Five thousand dollars’ worth of valuables stolen from vehicle

A backpack containing almost $5,000 in electronics and jewellery was stolen from the backseat of a car last week.

Police responded on Friday at 10:05 a.m. to a report of a theft from a motor vehicle parked in the 1200 block of Second Avenue West. No suspects have yet been identified.

Anyone with information regarding the theft should contact Prince Albert Police at 953-4222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
