Scotland’s master folk singer, songwriter and storyteller Archie Fisher is coming to Prince Albert.

Fisher, who enjoys a level of renown in the Scottish folk scene comparable to Gordon Lightfoot in Canada, will perform at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre for the Arts on Wednesday.

For more than two decades Fisher was the host of the BBC Radio Scotland program Travelling Folk. He has been inducted into the Scots Traditional Music Hall of Fame and was named a Distinguished Member of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth for his services to traditional music.

Fisher is set to take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to the show cost $27.30 and are available online or at the box office.
