Autopsies are scheduled for completion early this week in an effort to determine the official cause of death for a pair of freezing victims found last week.

The victims, 46-year-old Doris Faye Ahenakew and 62-year-old John Henry Dorion, were found deceased in the 100 block of 15th Street East on Friday, Feb. 15.

Aside from the autopsies, investigators are also awaiting toxicology results to determine if alcohol or another substance may have played a role.

The Prince Albert Police Service continues to investigate the case. Foul play is not suspected at this time.
