A 32-year-old Prince Albert man was arrested early on Sunday after kicking in the front door of Prince Albert Police headquarters during a domestic dispute.

Police responded to the dispute at the front doors of the station at approximately 1:47 a.m. Upon arrival, patrol officers found a highly intoxicated male and female had kicked the front door of the Police Service causing the glass to shatter.

An investigation revealed that no criminal offence had occurred between the couple. However, the male was arrested for public intoxication and wilful damage to the police station.

He was released from custody and will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Feb. 20 at 1:30 p.m. to face charges of mischief.
