Two Prince Albert residents were charged on Friday after police investigating a family dispute found a large amount of marijuana and related paraphernalia.
Police first responded to a complaint from a residence in the 900 block of 17th Street West at approximately 11:57 p.m.
Upon the officers’ arrival, and while investigating the complaint, police located a significant amount of marijuana and paraphernalia. They also seized an undisclosed amount of cash.
A 35-year-old male and 28-year-old female have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and property obtained from crime. Both suspects were released from custody and will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Feb. 12 at 1:30 p.m.
