As of 10 a.m. on Sunday, Parkland Ambulance Paramedics had responded to 42 incidents over the weekend. Noteworthy calls, as released by the organization, are as follows:
• A house fire had paramedics out to Paddockwood at about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, about 35 km northeast of Prince Albert. Paramedics cared for a 57-yearold man who suffered serious injuries in the incident. Initially brought to Victoria Hospital, he was later transferred to St. Paul’s hospital in Saskatoon for further care and treatment.
• Two assaults resulted in people taken to Victoria hospital for further care and treatment, including one at about 6 a.m. on Sunday in the 1600 block of 13th St. W., and one at 4:45 a.m. Saturday morning at the Wahpeton Reserve.
• Exposure to the cold had one 55-year-old man taken to Victoria Hospital by ambulance in good condition on Saturday morning at about 5 a.m. The man was picked up in the 1200 block of Ninth Ave. W.
• Minor injuries were reported as a result of a motor vehicle collision at about midnight, Saturday morning. The incident took place at 13th Avenue and 12th Street West, affecting two women, 25 and 18. Two other people in the incident were not injured and did not require medical attention from paramedics.
