A bar customer was arrested on Saturday after allegedly threatening a staff member with a knife.
Police responded at 12:57 a.m. to a weapons complaint from a bar in the 900 block of 15th Street East. Staff alleged that a customer who had been refused further service had threatened a member of the bar staff.
Responding officers located a 41-year-old Prince Albert male in the area who matched the description of the suspect and arrested him. A search following the arrest revealed him to be in possession of a small, edged weapon.
The man has been charged with uttering threats and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace. He was later released on an undertaking and is scheduled to make his first appearance in provincial court on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 1:30 p.m.
