A man was arrested Tuesday morning after spitting on a police officer who was responding to a complaint of a family dispute.
Police responded to the complaint at 5:20 a.m. and found an intoxicated male inside a residence in the 1400 block of 28th Street East. Mobile Crisis assisted police with an infant located in the residence.
The man was arrested for breach of conditional sentence and was charged with assaulting a police officer after resisting and spitting on the officer during the arrest process.
The suspect will be remanded in custody and is scheduled to make his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
