Two injured in aggravated assault

Police are investigating a New Year’s Eve incident that left two young men injured as an aggravated assault.

Officers responded at 4:09 a.m. to a call to assist Parkland Ambulance with an injured male in the 300 block of 12th Street West.

While a 21-year-old man remains under care at the Victoria Hospital, a 19-year-old male was treated and released.

Members of the Criminal Investigation and Patrol Divisions of the Prince Albert Police Service continue to investigate.
