Police are investigating a bear spray attack by an unknown assailant that occurred in the parking lot of an East Hill apartment complex on Saturday.
At about 5 a.m. the complainant and three other victims were parked in their vehicle when the culprit approached it and sprayed a canister of bear spray into the interior.
All four people inside the car were affected and transported to the Victoria Hospital, where they were later released with no injuries.
The victims describe the attack as unprovoked.
