The provincial government is reminding employers and minimum wage earners of an increase in Saskatchewan’s minimum wage that takes effect Dec. 1.

Minimum hourly pay will be raised from $9.50 to $10, with a corresponding increase in minimum call-out pay to $30.

The change will affect approximately 22,000 minimum wage workers in Saskatchewan, representing about five per cent of the province’s paid workforce.
