The provincial government has authorized more than 4,000 scholarships through the Saskatchewan Advantage Scholarship (SAS) program, with a total value surpassing $2 million.

Launched in spring, the SAS program offers new Grade 12 students in the province who enrol at one of Saskatchewan’s post-secondary institution a scholarship of up to $500 per year, to a lifetime maximum of $2,000 over 10 years.

Since April 1, the SAS has reduced tuition for students entering post-secondary programs throughout the province, applying to a wide variety of institutions and courses.
