Prince Albert Police are urging motorists to slow down and drive carefully following the first major snowfall of the year.

Drivers faced icy and slippery roads on Tuesday as city crews worked to clear snow and take care of slippery areas.

Among the suggestions police made to drivers are slowing down, allowing more distance to stop, allowing more time to reach one’s planned destination and not being on the road unless necessary.
