A teenager was arrested early Monday morning when police saw him riding a bicycle that had been reported stolen only hours before.
Police responded to a report of a break and enter at a shed shortly after 11 p.m. in the 800 block of 28th Street. One of the stolen items was a bicycle.
During the officers’ same shift, a 16-year-old male from Sturgeon Lake was seen riding the stolen bicycle around 6 a.m. in the 2700 block of Second Avenue West.
The suspect was arrested and is schedule to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Friday, Oct. 5.
A teenage male has been charged with possession of stolen property, break and enter and obstruction for giving police investigators a false name.
