Murder suspect makes first court appearance

A 23-year-old male charged with murder and attempted murder was scheduled to make his initial appearance at Prince Albert Provincial Court on Tuesday morning.

The charges stem from an incident on Sept. 15. At this time the name of the deceased is still being withheld until all family members have been notified.

Police will not be releasing any further information related to the investigation until further notice.
