Man allegedly sprays residents with bear mace

Police arrested a 19-year-old male on Sunday after two separate incidents of people being sprayed with bear mace within the city on Friday and on Saturday evening.

The suspect was arrested without incident after an investigation led police to a local hotel. He was scheduled to make his initial appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Tuesday morning.

The man has been charged with two counts of Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace.
