A 32-year-old woman suffered a cut to the forehead during an argument with a 35-year-old man in the 1200 block of 18th Street West on Saturday morning before calling police with a domestic violence complaint.
Police arrived at 9:12 a.m. and arrested the male suspect, while the woman was treated and released at the Victoria Hospital. A cup or piece of crockery is believed to have caused the injury.
The suspect has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and was released from custody on several conditions. He is scheduled to make his first appearance on the matter in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 1:30 p.m.
