Police charge two Prince Albert residents in relation to drug bust

Members of the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team seized 989 grams of cannabis resin, 90 grams of marijuana and a large amount of Canadian currency in a Prince Albert residence on Wednesday.

After police had executed a CDSA (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act) search warrant on the residence and found the drugs, seven people were taken into custody without incident.

Jonathon Michael Mah, 27, of Prince Albert was charged with trafficking and possession of cannabis resin and possession of proceeds of crime. Mah was remanded in custody and made a court appearance in the Prince Albert Provincial Court on Aug. 31.

Dustyn Korecki, 30, of Prince Albert was charged with two counts of breaching his undertaking. Korecki will be making a court appearance in the Prince Albert Provincial Court on Sept. 18.
