RCMP are on the lookout for a Newfoundland-born man who was believed to be most recently living in Red Deer.
Trevor Norman John Legge, 29, is wanted on 13 charges so far, ranging from drug and gun charges to possessing stolen property and flight from police.
He is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
The public is being cautioned not to approach Legge because police consider him to be unpredictable, armed and dangerous.
Anyone having information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
Investigators believe he may be in possession of high-powered weapons.
He narrowly eluded police twice near Whitecourt, Alta., in the last couple of weeks, including one time when he fled on foot into the bush.
Whitecourt is about 800 kilometres west of Prince Albert.
