On Friday the curtain raises on the Broadway North Theatre/E. A. Rawlinson Centre production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. This musical production features children and adults from Prince Albert and area.
This is a show suitable for families which takes the audience to the magical kingdom fathoms below to the world of the beautiful young mermaid Ariel.

On Dec. 21, the E. A. Rawlinson Centre presents Festive Magic spotlighting local singers, instrumentalists, dancers, and Santa Claus. Christmas is all about families and this year Festive Magic features several family groups.
The lineup includes Violet Naytowhow and Lillanohna Naytowhowcon, Lindsay Scarrow and Heidi Munro, The Strong family (Glen, Rebecca, Amanda and Allison Rae), Jody and Scott Johnson, The Mihilewicz Family, Tristen Durocher, Karen Langlois, The Prince Albert Children’s Choir, Arioso and Dancers from the Performing Arts Warehouse. The Jazz Guise including Mike Langlois, Dave Monette and Darcy Sander are the house band for the concert.
Join Santa in the lobby at intermission for Christmas goodies and lots of good cheer.
While at the E. A. Rawlinson Centre, you are invited to purchase a raffle ticket giving you a chance to win your choice of two tickets for either Kenny Rogers or Blue Rodeo and a beautiful and decadent Godiva Chocolates Gift Basket.
The raffle tickets are available at the Box Office and in the lobby at all of the evening performances of the Little Mermaid. Tickets cost $2 each or three tickets for $5. Proceeds of the Raffle will go to the Friends of the Olive and John Diefenbaker Theatre Program.
Generous donations to this program have allowed the purchase of a replacement cordless microphone system and a wireless headset communication system over the past year. Both of the pieces of equipment are vital to the operation of the theatre and were badly in need of replacement. The next project of the Friends of the Olive and John Diefenbaker Theatre is a digital display sign.
