Prince Albert comedy fans who missed Gabriel Rutledge last October will have another chance to see the Seattle comic on Thursday.
Rutledge, who played at Bailey’s in Prince Albert on Oct. 3, was one of the year’s top draws for organizer Kelly Taylor.
“I can’t believe how lucky we were to get him the first time,” Taylor said in an email. “When comics have a great show somewhere they always keep that person in the loop when they come through again. Gabriel has a big show in Saskatoon on Friday so he messaged me and we got him for the Thursday.
“He was so funny. I rarely tell my parents to come to a show but I told them to come.”
Unfortunately for Taylor, he’ll miss the show because he’ll be in Calgary for a previous engagement.
Steve Thomas, an Irish product who now works out of Saskatoon, will serve as host that night.
Advance tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the front desk of the Best Western Marquis Inn And Suites.
