The next 2014 House Concert at the Mann Art Gallery will feature a one-time Manitoba woman teaming up with a New York guitarist.

Andy Stack and Tania Elizabeth, a married couple who now live in New York, are doing Home Routes concerts across Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

They perform at 7:30 p.m. on March 15 at the Mann Art Gallery.

Elizabeth helped found The Duhks, a folk band in Winnipeg that both she and Stack now belong to.

Stack and Elizabeth also do their own thing, with their band The Stacks performing what they describe on their website this way; “Blues and gospel collide with kitchen-party fiddle riffs and crystal-clear vocals.”

He has worked as professional guitarist for the last decade.

Tickets are $20 each, with every penny going directly to the performers.

The next concert comes on April 11 when Ontario’s David Newland visits.

Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages and food for a potluck but some refreshments are available.
