On right are photos of a tree that landed on two houses in the 1400 block of Fourth Street East. According to residents, the tree fell at around 8 p.m. The city’s public works team arrived at the scene early Wednesday morning. No one was hurt, and no other departments were called in for assistance. The tree was 40 years old and had a crack that was being held together by a bolt, according to the property owner. A city worker said cleanup is still being done for the high winds that occurred last week. He said the gusts are especially threatening to the 100-year-old trees in the Midtown area.
